Vigor Begins Work on USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53)

Vigor, a Titan company, has been awarded a $131 million U.S. Navy contract to complete a docking selected restricted availability (DSRA) on USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) at Harbor Island in Seattle. The ship arrived at Harbor Island on November 4, becoming the fourth U.S. Navy vessel currently undergoing maintenance at the Seattle shipyard.

Vigor Successfully Completes Largest Ship Repair Project in Its History, USS McCampbell

Vigor has completed a comprehensive modernization of USS McCampbell (DDG 85) at Swan Island, sending the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer on to its new homeport at Naval Station Everett, Wash. The 18-month, more than $155 million project was the largest ever completed by Vigor’s Ship Repair team, and the largest of its kind at Swan Island in nearly 30 years.

The Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center (HRMC) delivered the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, USS William P. Lawrence (DDG 110), back to the fleet two days ahead of schedule, on Jan. 19, 2022, after a 10-month Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA).

Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (Ariz.), U.S. Senator Mark Kelly (Ariz.), Senate Commerce Committee Chair Maria Cantwell (Wash.) and House Armed Services Committee Chair Adam Smith (Wash.) visited Vigor’s Harbor Island shipyard in Seattle today, including touring the Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS 10), which is currently undergoing maintenance.

Vigor Wins U.S. Navy Availability Contract for USS Gabrielle Giffords, USS Omaha

The U.S. Navy has awarded Vigor, a Titan Company, a docking selected restricted availability (DSRA) contract for both USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS 10) and USS Omaha (LCS 12). Both are Independence-class littoral combat ships and will go to Harbor Island in Seattle, Wash. for the DSRA.
